The company currently employs over 50 employees. Its capabilities encompass several engineering disciplines: Civil/Site Design, Surveying, Geotechnical, Environmental (including Phase 1, 2 and 3 Site Assessment), Structural and Pavement Evaluation and Rehabilitation Design. Additionally, AWK offers in-house drilling capabilities.

AWK Development, Inc. is a joint-venture partner on this project involving the adaptive re-use of the former Lemington Home for the Aged, located at 1625 Lincoln Avenue in the City of Pittsburgh, PA. The project will create a mixed-use development, including 54 units of senior housing as well as commercial spaces that complement this occupancy by coupling housing and health. The total cost for this development is approximately $10,000,000.
