J&E Real Estate, LLC is the owner of 22 parcels of land located in Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, PA. The land was purchased in 2014 and consisted of 24 buildable lots. Since then, two lots have been sold and houses have been constructed on those lots.
J&E Real Estate, LLC is owned by James E. Abdulla (96%) and Errol S. Abdulla (4%).

The company currently employs over 50 employees. Its capabilities encompass several engineering disciplines including: Civil / Site Design, Surveying, Geotechnical, Environmental (including Phase 1, 2, and 3 Site Assessment), Structural and Pavement Evaluation and Rehabilitation Design. Errol S. Abdulla is founder and president of AWK Consulting Engineers, Inc. which is a geotechnical, civil, structural, environmental, surveying, site design and drilling firm with multiple offices in Pennsylvania and Florida. He has over 40 years of experience as the principal-in-charge of numerous projects in the private and public sector for various governmental agencies.
He routinely manages geotechnical and civil engineering work for various types of projects including highways and bridges, locks and dams, waterways and rail transit. He has participated in the foundation design for various types of single and multiple span highway bridges. Errol has performed many investigations for the stabilization of landslides in complex geologic conditions. He has extensive experience in the design of high earth embankments and deep cuts in soil and rock for roadways and rail transit. Errol provided designs for both conventional and specialty retaining walls. He was involved in various civil works projects including lock and dam foundations and flood protection channel improvements. In addition, he has performed analysis and design of pavement systems for interstate highways. With regard to hazardous waste, he has supervised environmental testing for various mine sites and abandoned waste dumps. Moreover, he has been involved in site designs for various housing and commercial real estate developments.
Errol has provided litigation support, including expert witness report preparation and testimony on numerous cases involving landslides, excavation support and structure settlement.
Errol obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and Florida.
James E. Abdulla began his career at AWK Consulting Engineers, Inc. in January of 2008 after pursuing collegiate athletics from 2003 to 2007. During his initial tenure at AWK, his duties consisted of administration such as marketing, invoicing, and other miscellaneous tasks. He was under the mentorship of his father, Errol Abdulla, where he learned about the civil engineering industry.
To highlight a few accomplishments, James co-founded and became the majority owner of both AWK Development, Inc. and J&E Real Estate, LP & LLC in 2012. These entities have engaged in affordable, market rate, single and multi-family housing development projects. His first project involved the demolition of a 19-unit townhouse building and the construction of six (6) subsidized affordable single-family homes. He has also owned and managed a 34-unit and a 15-unit multi-family apartment buildings where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations. Most recently, he and his father completed the sale of two modular homes in North Versailles, Pennsylvania where J&E Real Estate, LLC acted as the primary builder.

Additionally, James has been instrumental in the ongoing business development of AWK Consulting Engineers, Inc. He has helped establish locations in Orlando, Florida and Livermore, California. He is directly responsible for all business development activities at both of these locations.
James has obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona Global Campus, graduating magna cum laude. He has a real estate agent license in the state of California through the DRE #02007578 and his agent’s license for LAH insurance through the state of California.
